PRODUCT DATA SPECIALIST
Description:
Purpose of Position:
To manage product and pricing data and administer company's marketing programs and websites.
Primary Roles:
Product data management o Manage product data in Vision system o Maintain vendor and product information resources o Communicate new/updated product information to team Pricing data management o Price change process o Purchasing coop contract administration o Vision sale contracts for promotional pricing o Vision Pricing Models Website product data o Ensure that website information accurately reflects current product mix and pricing o Manages item level specials on website Product reporting and data analysis o Create and maintain product queries and reports o Monitor product data quality o Reporting to AAM and vendors Other
Responsibilities:
Process incoming information and feedback from vendors, buying group, Alamo team, and customers.
Act on, respond to, share, and document this information as necessary.
Review scheduled reports and take actions as necessary.
Performs other areas as requested.

Requirements:
Associate degree with at least two years of related experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent organizational, computer and data management skills Automotive experience preferred.
Available to work extended hours.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Carries out company plans and works as a representative of the company.
Works towards meeting goals and ensuring company success.
Responsible for all safety aspects of the company.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position is infrequently active and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting and repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and/or fingers all day.
The employee is required to sit frequently.
The employee must occasionally exert up to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move and lift objects.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Schedule:
Determined by assigned department.
May include weekends and one day off during the week.
Overtime may be required.
Travel may be required occasionally.
